IS45 has built expertise in Geoscience and has experience working on various projects & locations. Additionally, IS45 is always open to new business or participation in Datarooms on behalf of clients/partners.

General projects

IS45 participated in numerous Datarooms across the globe with a special focus on Africa. In the last 8 years, our experts have been working on various geological settings including:

  • Marginal field in the Niger Delta - Nigeria
  • Deep offshore turbidites in Angola
  • Lacustrine and carbonate reservoirs in Congo
  • Channels complexes in South Africa

Additionally, we have been involved in reviewing opportunities in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo Brazzaville, DRC, Angola, and Brazil.

OML29 technical support

IS45 has built a specific partnership with AITEO E&P since its successful participation in the 2013 SPDC (Shell Petroleum Development Company) divestment process.

Aiteo/IS45 consortium represents a perfect complementary partnership undertaking the numerous challenges of producing oil and gas in Nigeria. Our primary common objective is to develop low-risk and high-reward undeveloped or underdeveloped oil and gas fields within the onshore/coastal swamps of Nigeria.

AITEO has a successful history in Nigeria operating in the downstream and midstream sectors over the last 15 years. Based on this success, the company entered the E&P sector with the acquisition of the OML29 licence in 2015. This license covers 983km2 and is situated within the Niger Delta, approximatively 90km southwest of Port Harcourt.

OML29 is one of the biggest onshore assets in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is divided into 5 main fields with a current daily production ranging from 70 to 90 kbopd and 60 Scf of associated gas. With more than 4 Bln bbl of oil in place over the main fields (and 1 Bln bbls already produced), the potential to grow production is gigantic (More details can be found on AITEO's website: www.aiteogroup.com). IS45 is the only technical support for the development of these fields.
